Poem That Have Been Written By Me.

I think I can be a better person in the future,

Be a responsible person is all I ever wanted,

Being successful and makes my family proud of me,

So that I will have the courage to move on in my life.

I think I can make my family to be impressed with all my doings,

Someday I will be managed to take care of my parent,

As they take care of me when I was a child,

Until I be a grown up person.

Pre Writing Technique.

Now I do know that there is many of pre writing technique. We have to do a mind mapping, the WH questions (where, when, who, what, why, how), brainstorming, free writing, and quick writing.

Types Of Hook.

There is many types of hook such as personal examples, quotations, facts or statistics, rhetorical questions, current events, contrast to the thesis statement, and definition.

I will make sure to use all of this information and technique in my writings.

Task At The Speaker's Corner

          We all have been given a task by Miss Zu. Miss Zu told us to go to the Speaker's Corner to look around it and take pictures that can be the proof that we are there. There's a lot of booth such as Mandarin booth, Arabic booth, and English booth. We was able to interview the student incharge of the booth. Her name is Kak Nora. Kak Nora brief us about China history and I feel extremely happy to know it completely.

          I also got the chance to know many types of Arabic dishes such as Tabulah, Hummus, and Syawarma. Tabulah is like a salad which is healthy to be eaten. Hummus is a popular dish in Syria , Palestine, and Lebanon. It must be eaten with fresh or toasted pita bread. Syawarma is a sandwich. The ingredients are sliced lamb, chicken, turkey, beef, or it also can be combined all together. There is many of Arabs outfit like Thaws, Keffiyeh, Tasah, etc. Thaws is a traditional Arabian clothe for man which is sometimes called Thobe. Keffiyeh is a traditional headdress usually worn by Arabian male.

127 Hours

       

          The title of the movie I have watched is "127 Hours". 127 Hours is the true story of the mountain climber named Aron Ralston in his amazing adventure to save himself after a fallen of large stone crashes on his arm and traps him in an isolated canyon.

          Outdoor adventurist Aron Ralston believes he is unstoppable and can do it all alone while on his outdoor adventures. He considers the outdoors as his second home. One day, Aron has gone for an adventure alone through the popular isolated Blue John Canyon. He has done this adventure thing so many times and as usual he has not told anyone where he is going. But on that day, he and a large stone fell down into a crevice. His right hand squeeze between the large stone and the crevice wall. Along five days short of water and without food, Aron becomes dehydrated, exhausted, and delusional until all of a sudden he remembered his family and friends. After the fifth day, he decides to cut his forearm to survive.

          According to this movie, it is so obvious that Aron is a really strong hearted person. He is willingly to sacrifice his forearm to continue his life. There's a suitable proverb to show what Aron has been through, "when there's a will, there's a way".

Quiz

8th December 2011.

Our class gets more interesting by the activity provided by our lecturer who is Miss Zu. On that day, we have quiz which is our class have been separated into two groups. The name of the two groups are "Bizarre" and "The Star". Both of this group were very challenging. Each members have knowledge as high as a sky. All of us were chasing the marks at that time. On top of the time, the team that have won is "Bizarre". But it doesn't mean that team "The Star" is not good enough because they cannot defeat us, but it's only luck which is in our side. Ouh, by the way, we learn a new word on that day, it is Bizarre which is mean odd, weird, strange, etc.

P. Ramlee's Movies

Today we all done a very interesting activity in our class. We all have been given a task by Miss Zu. The task was very interesting because all of us has been given an oppurtunity to be an actor or actress. In a group of five, we all have to do a short scene about choosen Allahyarham P. Ramlee's movies. There's many of his movie such as Masam Masam Manis, Ahmad Albab, Pendekar Bujang Lapok, Nujum Pak Belalang, and many more. My group choose Ahmad Albab as our task. It was quite a success eventhough it does not turn up well. Everyone in the group was giving a lot of ideas and plans. Cooperative is very important in a group presentation and it has been showed by every individu. Everyone play their own part in the task given and they should be proud of themselves because it was superb. Eventhough I'm the only male in my group, I still done my part as planned. I saw the amazed impression in their faces when every group make a presentation. Miss Zu should do this kind of task more often so that everyone will enjoy themselves and enjoy the learning. My opinion are, all the group had performed  their best for the task.

English is the best language ever. It's fun to learn and should be known by every each person in the universe. Thank you.

Nouns

Today we learn about "nouns". There's many type of nouns such as plural, common, countable, uncountable, etc. Miss Zu gave us a quiz to check our level in nouns. But unfortunately I got only 1 right out of 10 question. Honestly I felt like totally dissapointed towards myself after realize my weekness in nouns. I still got a long way to go. I must try my very best to achieve my own goals which is mastering in English. I just want to say that I will correct my mistakes after this.
